| | Beagle Ridge is an organic herb farm and environmental education center is the beautiful hills of Southwestern Virginia. Ten miles south of Wytheville,this 160 acre oasis is home to 14 display gardens, a shoppe filled with herbal bath and body products, seasonings and teas, plants for sale in season and birding trails.Hike the 4.5 miles of trails, watch for deer, turkey and a wide variety of birds,even bear as you hike to Buzzards Roost. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a meal by the lake at Hemlock Cove and watch the kigfisher have his lunch. Walk through Flying Flowers, the areas first butterfly enclosure, and enjoy a butterfly tea on Saturday afternoons. Beagle Ridge is open Thursday - Sunday from 10-5,Group tours welcome by appointment at other times. Have an herbal luncheon in the gardens or just come enjoy a cup of teas while watching the butterflies. Be sure to bring your camera. |
